Terms of Service

Welcome to MenMeetMen (“MMM“, “we“, “our” or “us“). These Terms of Service (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of the MenMeetMen website, mobile applications, and any related services (collectively, the “Service“). Please read them carefully.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our [Privacy Policy]. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
  2. The Service is designed for gay, bisexual, queer, and transmasculine adults and allies. By using MMM you represent that you identify with or respect this community.
  3. You are prohibited from using the Service if you are on any sex‑offender registry or are otherwise barred from receiving services under the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. Account Registration & Security

  1. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you create an account and to keep it updated.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  3. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or suspected breach of security.

3. Changes to the Service or Terms

  1. We may modify the Service, these Terms, or any feature at any time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
  2. If you do not accept the modified Terms, you must discontinue use and, if applicable, cancel any subscription prior to the next billing cycle.

4. Content

4.1 Your Content

  1. “User Content” means any photos, text, audio, video, or other materials you post, upload, or transmit through the Service.
  2. You retain all ownership rights in your User Content but grant MMM a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, use, display, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and create derivative works from your User Content solely for operating, developing, and promoting the Service.
  3. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe or violate any third‑party rights or laws.

4.2 Community Guidelines

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines, which prohibit, among other things:

  • Harassment, hate speech, or threats;
  • Non‑consensual or exploitative content, including minors or anyone who has not given explicit consent;
  • Illegal activities, requests for drugs, weapons, or sex work;
  • Spam, scams, or impersonation;
  • Nudity or sexual content in profile photos (per app‑store policies) and any content depicting sexual activities that is obscene or exploitative.

4.3 Enforcement

We may remove or restrict access to any User Content or account that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, without notice and at our sole discretion.

5. Paid Features, Subscriptions & Billing

  1. Some features are offered for a fee. Pricing, features, and subscription terms are described in‑app and may change.
  2. Auto‑Renewal. Paid subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. Your payment method will be charged each billing cycle unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  3. Cancellations & Refunds. You may cancel via your device’s app‑store settings or account portal. Subject to mandatory laws, payments are non‑refundable and partial months are not credited.
  4. Taxes and fees may be added as required by law.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  1. Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent;
  2. Harvest or scrape data from the Service;
  3. Decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to obtain source code;
  4. Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks;
  5. Violate any applicable law or regulation.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and all related intellectual property are owned or licensed by MMM and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted, we reserve all rights.

8. Third‑Party Content & Links

The Service may contain links to third‑party websites or resources. MMM does not endorse and is not responsible for their content, products, or services. You access them at your own risk.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any reason. You may delete your account at any time via settings. Sections 4–14 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

  1. No Guarantee of Matches. MMM provides a platform; we do not guarantee any specific outcomes, relationships, or dates.
  2. “As Is” Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMM provides the Service “as is” and disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
  3. We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, error‑free, or uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will MMM, its affiliates, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service will not exceed the greater of £100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in such cases our liability will be limited to the extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MMM and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

  1. Informal Resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
  2. Binding Arbitration. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, it will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) under its Rules. You and MMM waive the right to a jury trial.
  3. Class Action Waiver. Disputes must be brought in an individual capacity; class or representative actions are not permitted.
  4. Opt‑Out. You may opt out of this arbitration clause within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing [email protected] with your name and explicit opt‑out statement.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Subject to Section 13, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in London for any dispute that cannot be resolved through arbitration.

15. Miscellaneous

  1. Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MMM regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
  2. Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
  3. No Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
  4. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. MMM may assign its rights and obligations at any time.

By using MenMeetMen, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
